Server Migration - cPanel Oscar and Pluto - 26th September 2024 (#SMIG2494)

UPDATE (23:35PM 29/09/2024) - We're in the final stages of the cPanel migration! As of 11:35 PM on September 29th, we have less than 2% of cPanel accounts remaining to be migrated.

myHostonic.com is now almost fully restored, and we expect all cPanel accounts and sites, along with the myHostonic client portal, to be fully operational by 4:00 PM on September 30th.

For those who have already regained access to their cPanel accounts and websites, we're glad to hear it! If you're still unable to access your account, please be assured that the migration is still in progress.

As a thank you for your patience during this process, we will be adding £15/$15/€15 to all affected accounts as account credit. This credit can be used towards new services or renewals.

Important Information:

No nameserver changes are needed at this time.
Once the migration is complete, we will be adding two new nameservers.
The server's IP address will change. You can find the new IP address by logging into your cPanel after the migration is finished.

We appreciate your continued patience as we work to complete this process and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

UPDATE (22:35PM 28/09/2024) - We're pleased to announce that the migration of cPanel accounts from Oscar and Pluto servers is 90% complete!

Many sites and cPanel accounts have already been restored and are functioning normally. You will receive an email shortly with the new server details if your site and cPanel account are now accessible.

We understand that some accounts are still unavailable and may display as "This site is suspended." We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working diligently to restore all services, and all affected sites will be fully operational by the end of the day on September 30th.

myHostonic.com will remain inaccessible until September 30th. This is due to the size and complexity of the myHostonic client portal, which requires additional time to complete the migration. We appreciate your patience as we work to bring myHostonic.com back online.

We understand this is frustrating, and we are working diligently to restore all services as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: Server migrations are complex processes. The time it takes to restore your site depends on the amount of storage and data it uses. We expect all sites to be migrated by September 30th, with myHostonic.com being accessible by the same date.

Although it's against our Terms and Conditions, Hostonic has decided that as a token of our appreciation for your patience, we will be adding £15/$15/€15 to all affected accounts once the migration is complete and all services are restored.

UPDATE (13:47PM 28/09/2024) - We're working on Phase Two and currently migrating all accounts from cPanel Oscar and cPanel Pluto to a new server. This is taking a bit longer than we anticipated.

Good news! Some of you may already be able to access your cPanel account and use your website as usual. If you're still unable to access your account, it means the migration is still in progress.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

No nameserver changes are needed right now.
Once the migration is complete, we'll be adding two new nameservers.
The server's IP address will change. You can find the new IP address by logging into your cPanel after the migration is finished.

Access to myHostonic is unavailable during this time.

We are writing to inform you that at 4:00 PM BST (London Time) today, your account will be migrated to our new server. This migration is necessary as our current server has reached its End of Life (EoL), and its software is now outdated.

The migration process is expected to take approximately two and a half hours, and should be completed by around 6:30 PM BST. During this time, you may experience some downtime and/or slower loading times. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although we will make every effort to ensure a smooth migration and transfer all data, we cannot guarantee this. As stated in our Terms of Service, Hostonic Hosting Limited cannot be held responsible for any loss or corruption of data during the migration process.
